Even Santa endorses Mark!  This is Mark and Santa Joe Monaco at a Habitat for Humanity build site.  Joe makes a living as as professional Santa Claus and volunteers as the construction site supervisor for Habitat for Humanity.  He also provides private sector (no government money or programs involved!) transitional housing and teaches self-reliance to men and women with substance dependency problems.

_____

I am confident that Mark Sievers will easily attract voters from the southern part of House District 45 who might otherwise vote Democrat or stay home.  He has so much work experience in so many critical areas that I believe he will be able to hit the ground running when he gets to the State House.  Crista Huff

_____

I think he is exactly the kind of person that should have representing his community (and our state in general) - reasonable, thoughtful, respectful and pro-business.  I have personally sent him funding and I encourage others to do the same or support him in other capacities.  Becky Fuller

_____

I have argued for years that diversity of life experience in a citizen legislator makes for good public policy. In my opinion, the narrowness of life experience in our politicians today (in both parties)  is the primary reason for their inability to make principled public policy positions. People with broad life experience have spent their time with “regular” people…not just party people, or other activists, or politicians. They know from whence they came, they can go home and live in their community again, and if they need to take a principled stand and that leads to losing an election…they’ll be okay, because of their life experience (simply, they can hold a job other than “lobbyist”).
